Dawnyse Rivers & Daimion Myers Married Saturday August 2, 2008

Congratulations to Dawnyse Rivers & Daimion Myers who were married this weekend! Dawn and Daimion have been friends since their High School Days. Dawn now teaches Physical Education in the Public Schools while Daimion is completing his degree at Stony Brook
University.
A great time was had by all in a wedding that included a poetry reading-dance recital performance art piece as well as amazing Caribbean (Guyana) food. In an amazing transformation of the day what was a a rainy and cloudy day upon entering the church became sunny and pleasant upon leaving the church. I'm guessing a few people were asking for meteorological assistance while inside.

I loved this photo of best man Greg who started thinking about his own nuptials (not engaged) and was more then happy to hand over the rings to Dawnyse and Daimion during the ceremony!

Daimion looked so relaxed and happy after the ceremony, the sun was shining and we were off to the party!
